Finance Executive – Accounts Receivable

Dubai, United Arab Emirates

To manage and oversee the accounts receivable function by ensuring timely invoicing, accurate tracking of customer payments, and effective follow-up for collections in line with the company’s financial policies and UAE regulations.


Responsibilities:

  • Invoicing & Billing:
  1. Generate accurate and timely invoices for property sales, rentals, and service charges.
  2. Ensure all invoicing complies with contracts, payment schedules, and VAT requirements.
  • Receivables Management:
  1. Monitor outstanding balances and aging reports.
  2. Follow up with customers and brokers for timely payments.
  3. Reconcile receivables ledger and resolve discrepancies or short payments.
  • Collection Follow-ups:
  1. Coordinate with sales, legal, and broker relations teams for collection efforts.
  2. Send payment reminders, dunning letters, and escalations where required.
  • Bank Reconciliations & Posting:
  1. Record receipts against invoices accurately in ERP/finance systems.
  2. Reconcile customer payments and update customer statements.
  • Reporting:
  1. Prepare weekly/monthly AR aging reports.
  2. Assist in cash flow forecasting related to receivables.
  3. Highlight potential defaults or delays to management.
  • Compliance & Documentation:
  1. Maintain accurate documentation for all AR transactions.
  2. Ensure compliance with UAE VAT laws and real estate regulations.
  3. Support audit processes by providing necessary AR documentation.
