The Khatija Adamjee Foundation is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to assist with economic and market research, financial modeling, and investment analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on global economic trends — with a primary focus on U.S. macroeconomic developments and their impact on markets.
- Monitor and analyze U.S. and Pakistan stock markets to identify potential investment opportunities.
- Build financial models (e.g., Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), relative valuation, multiples-based models) to estimate the intrinsic value of companies.
- Apply different valuation techniques to assess whether investments are undervalued or overvalued, supporting investment decision-making.
- Assist in preparing presentations, reports, summaries, and key insights for internal stakeholders to support strategic decisions.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing (or recently completed) a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to work with financial data and valuation models.
- Familiarity with macroeconomic concepts and financial markets, including equities.
- Proficiency in Excel (or equivalent) for financial modeling and comfort using data sources for market research.
- Good written and verbal communication skills — able to prepare concise reports and presentations.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently under supervision.
