The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the organization, ensuring strong financial controls, accurate reporting, and strategic planning. This role manages budgeting, forecasting, accounting, and cash‑flow functions while supporting senior management in making informed financial decisions.
1. Financial Planning & Analysis
- Develop annual budgets, periodic forecasts, and financial models.
- Analyze financial performance and prepare monthly/quarterly management reports.
- Identify financial risks, opportunities, and trends to support decision‑making.
2. Accounting & Reporting
- Oversee all accounting operations including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger.
- Ensure timely preparation of accurate financial statements.
- Maintain compliance with international and local accounting standards.
3. Cash Flow & Treasury Management
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity on a daily/weekly basis.
- Optimize banking relationships and financing arrangements.
- Implement strategies to ensure strong financial stability.
4. Compliance & Internal Controls
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, audit requirements, and company policies.
- Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Coordinate internal and external audits.
5. Procurement & Cost Control Support
- Review and approve purchase requests, supplier payments, and cost allocations.
- Evaluate cost‑saving opportunities and improve financial efficiency across departments.
6. Strategic Leadership
- Provide financial insights to support business growth and expansion decisions.
- Lead, supervise, and train finance team members.
- Assist top management in long-term financial planning.
