Position Title: Finance Manager – Property Development

Job Overview

Emirates Talent Solution is looking to hire an experienced Finance Manager for a well-established property development and real estate organization in Karachi. The suitable candidate should possess 7–10 years of comprehensive finance and accounting experience, preferably within the real estate or property development industry.

This role will oversee daily financial activities, maintain regulatory compliance, control cash flow and budgeting functions, and deliver strategic financial guidance to support business expansion and profitability.

Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Planning & Analysis

  • Develop annual budgets, forecasts, and financial projections aligned with organizational goals.
  • Track financial performance, review variances, and present actionable recommendations.
  • Provide senior management with accurate and timely financial reports for strategic planning.

Financial Reporting & Compliance

  • Supervise preparation of balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow reports.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS standards and local financial regulations.
  • Manage internal and external audit activities while maintaining transparency and accuracy in reporting.

Cash Flow & Treasury Management

  • Oversee day-to-day cash flow and banking operations to maintain sufficient liquidity for projects.
  • Manage loan servicing, reconciliations, and treasury-related transactions.
  • Prepare and update cash flow forecasts to support investment and funding decisions.

Cost Control & Risk Management

  • Implement financial control measures to improve cost efficiency.
  • Identify potential financial risks and strengthen internal control mechanisms.
  • Monitor project expenditures to ensure they remain within approved budgets.

Team Leadership

  • Guide, train, and supervise junior finance staff and accountants.
  • Conduct training sessions on accounting standards, reporting practices, and ERP tools.
  • Coordinate with other departments to enhance financial and reporting workflows.

Taxation & Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to corporate tax, VAT, and other statutory requirements.
  • Oversee tax submissions, audits, and coordination with consultants and authorities.
  • Stay informed about updates in Pakistan’s taxation and real estate regulations.

Candidate RequirementsEducation

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.

Certifications

  • Professional certifications such as CA, ACCA, CPA, or CMA (qualified or part-qualified preferred).

Experience

  • 7–10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting.
  • Minimum 3–5 years in a mid-to-senior finance role within property development or real estate.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in ERP and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or similar platforms).
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, local tax regulations, and financial compliance standards.
  • Practical experience in budgeting, financial reporting, and account reconciliations.

Soft Skills

  • Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Highly organized, deadline-oriented, and capable of performing in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs150,000.00 - Rs300,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:
