Finance Manager

We are looking for an experienced Logistics Finance Manager with strong exposure to Dubai Airport Free Zone (DAFZA) or Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA) operations. The ideal candidate will manage financial control, costing, billing, and compliance for logistics and freight forwarding activities, ensuring accuracy, profitability, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all finance operations related to logistics and freight forwarding activities
• Oversee costing, pricing support, and job profitability analysis
• Review and approve invoices, accruals, and revenue recognition
• Ensure compliance with free zone regulations and UAE VAT requirements
• Coordinate with operations, sales, pricing, and management teams
• Monitor cash flow, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
• Prepare monthly financial reports, P&L statements, and management dashboards
• Ensure accurate allocation of costs and revenues per shipment and job number
• Support internal and external audits
• Improve financial processes, controls, and system efficiency

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a Finance Manager or senior finance role within logistics or freight forwarding
• Hands-on experience with DAFZA or JAFZA operations is required
• Strong knowledge of air, sea, and land freight costing and financial workflows
• Solid understanding of VAT and free zone financial practices in the UAE
• Experience using Focus ERP system or similar ERP systems in logistics or finance environments
• Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Professional certifications (ACCA, CPA, CMA) are a plus
• Experience working with freight forwarding or logistics companies in the UAE
