Finance Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Finance Manager to lead our financial operations and drive fiscal excellence across the organization. In this pivotal role, you will oversee comprehensive financial activities, ensure compliance with accounting standards such as IAS (International Accounting Standards), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), and GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), and provide insightful financial analysis to support decision-making. Your expertise will help shape our financial strategies, optimize resource allocation, and strengthen our financial health. Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation and interpretation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS, IAS, GAAP, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee corporate accounting functions including general ledger reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, cost accounting, and cash flow analysis.
  • Manage treasury activities such as investment management, cash flow forecasting, and risk management to safeguard assets and optimize liquidity.
  • Develop and implement budgeting processes, financial planning models, and forecasting strategies to support organizational objectives.
  • Conduct risk analysis and risk management initiatives to identify potential financial threats and develop mitigation plans.
  • Ensure regulatory reporting requirements are met accurately and timely for governmental agencies and other stakeholders.
  • Lead strategic initiatives in business development, revenue management under ASC 606 standards, and cost control measures to maximize profitability.
  • Supervise the preparation of detailed financial reports, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and other key financial documents for executive review.
  • Utilize advanced financial software for bookkeeping, account analysis, account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and general ledger accounting.
  • Provide leadership in compliance management efforts related to public accounting standards, technical accounting issues like ASC 606 revenue recognition, and non-profit accounting practices where applicable.

Experience

  • Proven experience in financial management roles with a strong background in corporate finance, governmental accounting, or non-profit accounting environments.
  • Extensive knowledge of IAS, IFRS, GAAP standards along with experience in regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Demonstrated expertise in risk analysis, risk management strategies, budget development, forecasting techniques, and fiscal management.
  • Proficiency in financial software systems with strong skills in financial report writing and interpretation.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a track record of guiding teams through complex financial projects while fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to perform detailed account analysis and cost management assessments.
  • Prior experience managing treasury functions including investment oversight and cash flow optimization is highly desirable. Pay: $64,583.66 - $77,778.17 per year
