Role Overview:
We are hiring a
Finance Manager
to lead financial planning, reporting, and performance management while acting as a strategic partner to the CEO and leadership team.
A key responsibility of this role is
supporting and leading fundraising activities
, including
debt financing, equity fundraising, and grants
, to enable IWTE’s growth and regional expansion.
This is a
hybrid, full-time role
based in
Qesm 1st 6 October
, with flexibility for remote work.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management & Reporting

Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

Oversee accounting operations and ensure accurate financial records

Strengthen internal controls, governance, and risk management
Strategic & Business Finance
-
Provide financial insights to support pricing, project profitability, and investment decisions

Monitor performance versus targets and highlight risks and opportunities
-
Support CAPEX planning and ROI analysis
Debt, Equity & Grants (Critical Role)
-
Lead and manage
debt financing
with banks and financial institutions (facilities, guarantees, project finance, working capital)

Support
equity fundraising
processes, including financial models, investor materials, data rooms, and due diligence

Identify, apply for, and manage
grants and development finance programs
-
Act as the main financial contact with
banks, investors, development institutions, and funding partners
Compliance & Stakeholder Management

Ensure compliance with tax, regulatory, and statutory requirements

Coordinate with auditors, legal advisors, and financial partners
-
Support management and board reporting with clear financial insights
Qualifications
-
Strong background in financial management, budgeting, and financial planning
-
Solid experience in accounting, financial analysis, and reporting
-
Knowledge of compliance, internal controls, and risk management
-
Experience or exposure to
debt financing, equity fundraising, or grants
is highly preferred

Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

CPA, CFA, or MBA is a strong advantage
-
Experience in water, infrastructure, engineering, or project-based companies is a plus
