Finance Manager

Position Summary:

• The Finance Manager oversees financial closing and reporting of the CA U.S. subsidiary under IFRS, working closely with an external accounting firm that prepares financial statements and tax returns. The role acts as the key finance contact for the Korea headquarters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual closing in line with IFRS and HQ policies.
• Manage and review deliverables from the external accounting/tax firm (books, financial statements, tax filings).
• Prepare group reporting packages and analyses (P&L, BS, CF, variances) for HQ.
• Support year-end audit procedures and respond to auditor and HQ inquiries.
• Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations with HQ.
• Monitor working capital and report key issues to local management and HQ.
• Maintain and improve internal controls over financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting/Finance.
• 10+ years of relevant experience, preferably in multinational or foreign subsidiary environments.
• Solid understanding of IFRS and closing/reporting processes.
• Experience collaborating with external accounting and tax firms.
• Strong Excel/ERP skills and excellent English communication.
• Strong Korean–English bilingual ability; able to work independently in a small subsidiary.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience in the medical device, healthcare, or manufacturing industry.
• Prior involvement in group reporting, consolidation, or internal control/SOX‑like environments.
• Comfortable working across time zones and balancing requirements from both local management and HQ.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $150,342.33 - $200,000.37 per year
