Finance Manager

The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with senior management to develop financial strategies for the organization. You are comfortable handling large amounts of data, acting as a business partner, decision maker, and providing regular financial reporting.

Job Title: Finance Manager

Reports To: CFO (with dotted-line reporting to VP of US)

Key Responsibilities:

1. End-to-End Financial Management:

• Manage monthly closing processes and prepare financial statements compliant with US GAAP and corporate accounting policies.

2. Business Partnership & Analytics:

• Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and retail performance monitoring (GMROI, inventory turnover, store P&L).
• Support new store rollout through financial modeling and ROI analysis.

1. Compliance & Risk Oversight:

• Ensure SOX compliance, manage tax filings, external audits, and banking relationships.
• Optimize foreign exchange risk mitigation strategie

4. Strategic Financial Leadership:

• Analyze US market competitor dynamics to provide actionable insights for pricing optimization and supply chain enhancements.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance.
• 5+ years of progressive financial management experience (retail/FMCG sector preferred).
• Expertise in US GAAP, tax regulations, and SOX/internal controls.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (Netsuite/SAP).
• Demonstrated cross-cultural collaboration skills and adaptability to US-China time zones.

Preferred:

• Active CPA/CMA certification.
• Advanced analytics skills (Power BI, SQL).
• Solution-oriented mindset with ability to drive process improvements.
