About The Role
F6 Ventures Finance Manager will manage the day-to-day financial operations of F6 Ventures in Egypt, its related management entities and investment funds, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance. We are looking for someone who combines financial management responsibilities and hands-on accounting duties, supporting fund operations, audits, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Accounting
- Manage daily accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation for all transactions.
- Oversee bookkeeping, payroll processing, and expense tracking across regional entities.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow).
- Support the preparation of management reports, fund financial statements, and audit documentation.
- Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax laws, and company policies.
- Manage and process monthly payroll for Egypt staff in coordination with HR.
- Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with local labor and tax regulations.
- Identify, recommend, and manage the implementation of new accounting and financial management tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Lead the annual budgeting process and monitor actual performance against approved budgets.
- Develop financial forecasts and cash flow projections.
- Identify variances and recommend corrective actions to improve cost efficiency.
- Support strategic planning through financial analysis and reporting.
Fund Administration Support
- Assist in fund cash management, capital call tracking, and expense allocation.
- Maintain basic fund records and ensure data accuracy for investor reporting.
- Support the investment team with financial inputs during fundraising, deployment, and exit processes.
- Liaise with banks, legal advisors, and fund administrators to facilitate smooth financial operations.
Compliance & Reporting
- Prepare financial and regulatory reports required by management, investors, and authorities.
- Ensure compliance with financial and tax regulations across operating jurisdictions (North Africa, GCC, Sub-Saharan Africa).
- Maintain up-to-date licenses, registrations, and governance documentation for fund and management entities.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with senior management and cross-functional teams to align financial operations with organizational goals.
- Build strong relationships with banks, auditors, regulators, and service providers.
Profile Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant working experience in finance or accounting; experience in VC, PE, or fund management is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
- Excellent command of Excel and familiarity with accounting softwares
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Strong communication and coordination skills across cross-functional and regional teams.
- Tech savvy and strong operational experience.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Proactive and highly organized, with strong time management and planning skills.
- Familiarity with the venture capital ecosystem
