Position Overview

As a Japanese Project Manager – Asia Zone, you will manage end-to-end localization and translation projects, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely delivery for Japanese clients. This role requires strong communication skills, cultural awareness, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full project lifecycle for Japanese clients—from planning to delivery.
  • Handle communication, requirements, and updates with clients and vendors.
  • Coordinate with linguists, reviewers, and internal teams.
  • Monitor timelines, quality, and budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with Japanese cultural and communication standards.
  • Work closely with the Asia zone team to achieve delivery excellence.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Japanese proficiency (JLPT N1 preferred).
  • Previous experience in translation, interpretation, or localization is mandatory.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in one of the following (Project Management, Project coordination , Operations , Account management or sales).
  • Excellent English (Full Professional Proficiency).
  • Ability to work Egypt time 2:00 AM – 11:00 AM.
  • Strong understanding of localization workflows.
  • Familiarity with CAT tools (Trados, MemoQ, XTM, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience handling Japanese accounts or projects.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • High attention to detail and quality control.
  • Effective communication with multicultural clients.
  • Ability to work independently under pressure.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Languages, Translation, or related fields.
