Finance Manager – Global Accounts & Compliance

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Manager – Global Accounts & Compliance at Chennai, with an overall experience of 8+ years and team management experience of 3+ years to oversee bookkeeping, accounting, and compliance across our group entities in India, the United States, and Singapore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with local statutory requirements, and providing consolidated financial reporting to management.

This role will serve as the central accounting manager, working closely with local advisors (US CPA, India CA support, Singapore accounting firms) and the leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Bookkeeping

  • Maintain day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping for multiple entities (India, US, Singapore).
  • Oversee monthly/quarterly/annual financial close, ensuring accuracy of trial balances.
  • Manage intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and eliminations.
  • Prepare management MIS and consolidated financial reports.

Compliance & Coordination

  • Ensure compliance with Indian regulations (GST, TDS, PF/ESI, ROC filings).
  • Coordinate with US CPA firms for federal/state filings and compliance.
  • Coordinate with Singapore accounting firms for ACRA filings, GST, and tax compliance.
  • Track statutory compliance calendars and ensure timely submissions.

Audit & Reporting

  • Liaise with statutory auditors in each country.
  • Support preparation of tax returns and statutory financials.
  • Manage treasury, banking, and FX transactions for cross-border operations.

Systems & Process

  • Implement and maintain accounting systems (QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho, or similar).
  • Standardize chart of accounts and reporting formats across entities.
  • Ensure proper internal controls for payments, approvals, and documentation.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or CPA equivalent; semi-qualified CA with strong experience may also be considered.
  • 5–8 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, and compliance; prior experience in multi-entity or multinational setups preferred.
  • Knowledge of Ind AS, IFRS, US GAAP basics.
  • Familiarity with GST, TDS, US tax basics, and Singapore statutory requirements.
  • Strong skills in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho, or NetSuite).
  • Excellent communication and ability to coordinate with cross-border teams.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From ₹1,000,000.00 per year
