Finance Manager / Head of Financial Control

About the Role

Our client in Bahrain is seeking an experienced Finance Manager / Head of Financial Control to lead financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and financial governance in a CBB-regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee financial control framework, internal controls, and accounting governance.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing and IFRS reporting.
• Prepare and submit all CBB regulatory returns and ensure compliance with NBR VAT requirements.
• Act as primary liaison with regulators, auditors, and internal stakeholders.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial performance reporting.
• Monitor liquidity, capital adequacy, and financial health indicators.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of findings.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and financial system enhancements.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CA or equivalent).
• 8–12 years of experience in banking, financing companies, or CBB-regulated entities.
• Strong knowledge of CBB Volume 5, IFRS, and regulatory reporting frameworks.
