This role offers an excellent opportunity for a finance professional to play a strategic role in financial planning, cost optimization, and business decision-making within a dynamic manufacturing environment.
This position will closely work with senior management, production teams, and business heads to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Budgeting
- Lead the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial planning models.
- Monitor business performance and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
- Provide financial insights to support management decision-making.
Costing & Business Analysis
- Oversee standard costing, activity-based costing, and variance analysis.
- Evaluate production costs and profitability across business units.
- Translate MIS and financial data into strategic recommendations.
Treasury & Financial Management
- Manage treasury operations, including cash flow planning and banking relationships.
- Handle foreign exchange exposure and financial risk management.
- Support investment planning and working capital management.
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, corporate laws, and IFRS.
- Lead financial reporting and support internal/external audits.
- Strengthen financial controls and governance.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance / Accounting
- Professional qualification preferred: ACA / ACCA / ACMA
Experience
- 5–7 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing company
- Strong exposure to costing, budgeting, and financial analysis
Technical Expertise
- ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar
- Cost accounting and manufacturing finance
- Budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
- Treasury management
- IFRS-based financial reporting
Leadership & Business Skills
- Ability to partner with operations, supply chain, and sales teams
- Experience in managing or mentoring finance team members
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Ability to present financial insights to senior management
