Finance Manager - (UAE Real Estate/Construction and Maintenance Background)

Finance Manager -Real Estate & Construction background

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage financial plans, budgets, and forecasts for real estate and construction projects.
  • Monitor project financial performance, including cost control, revenue recognition, and profitability analysis, analyze variances, and provide actionable insights to management.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and financial reporting standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers and project team to assess financial risks and opportunities associated with ongoing and upcoming projects and to ensure financial compliance and adherence to company policies.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and accurate record-keeping.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Conduct financial modeling and scenario analysis to support decision-making processes.
  • Conduct financial analysis to support investment decisions, including feasibility studies and risk assessments.
  • Oversee cash flow management, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, banks etc.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes affecting the real estate and construction sectors.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in finance management, specifically within the real estate and construction sectors in the UAE.
  • Minimum, 10years of experience in a Managerial position in finance management, specifically within the real estate and construction sectors in the UAE.
  • Strong knowledge of financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards in the real estate and construction industries.
  • Proven leadership abilities and experience in managing a finance team.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
