Finance Manager – US Accounting & Taxation

We are seeking a Finance Manager with strong core accounting, taxation, financial modeling, and client-facing experience — ideally from an ACCA + MBA background with fund management or portfolio reporting expertise. This role will support US financial operations, including month-end close, financial reporting, tax compliance coordination, audit support, and cash flow forecasting.

Key Responsibilities

US Accounting & Financial Operations

• Lead the monthly close process (AP, AR, general ledger, reconciliations) under US GAAP guidance.
• Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) for US entities.
• Manage cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning — leverage existing portfolio/treasury skills.
• Support internal and external audits (US-based auditors).

US Taxation (with training & support)

• Coordinate with US CPAs for federal (Form 1120/1065) and state tax filings.
• Prepare workpapers for quarterly estimated tax payments.
• Manage 1099 reporting for US vendors/contractors.
• Assist with sales & use tax nexus analysis and monthly filings (software-guided).
• Maintain tax compliance calendar and ensure no missed deadlines.

Financial Modeling & Strategy

• Build and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
• Support pricing, investment, and cost-saving decisions using your existing modeling expertise.
• Prepare client/investor-ready reports (leveraging portfolio performance reporting experience).

Team & Process Management

• Supervise 1–2 junior accountants.
• Improve processes using QBO, NetSuite, or Bill.com.
• Lead onboarding of new clients/entities

Qualifications:

• ACCA member (strong accounting & audit foundation)
• MBA in Finance & Banking (strategic & analytical)
• 6+ years experience including team leadership
• Fund management, IPS, portfolio rebalancing experience
• Client performance reporting & presentations
• Tax documentation & compliance experience (any jurisdiction)
• Internal & external audit support
• KYC & account opening (local/foreign accounts)
• Financial modeling & forecasting
