Finance Program Coordinator (part-time 28 hours/week)
The Finance Program Coordinator is a ¾-time (28-hour-per-week) position and plays a pivotal administrative role within the BYU Marriott School of Business Finance Program. This position coordinates major program initiatives, manages student and alumni engagement, and oversees the planning and execution of more than 25 annual events ranging from student information sessions to large professional conferences. This role serves as a central liaison between students, faculty, alumni, and external partners while supporting recruiting, admissions, marketing, and program operations.
What you’ll do in this position:
Plan, coordinate, and execute 25+ Finance Program events annually, including conferences, recruiting events, orientations, and alumni gatherings.
Hire, train, supervise, and mentor a team of student employees and part-time staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing office environment.
Support the Finance Program admissions process, including preparing applicant materials, assisting the admissions committee, and communicating outcomes to prospective students.
Provide mentorship and guidance to prospective and current students and help facilitate engagement within the Finance Program community.
Develop and maintain marketing and branding materials, including flyers, digital signage, social media content, and program SWAG.
Manage the Finance Program website and communications, ensuring information for students and stakeholders is current and accurate.
Administer the Certified Finance Analyst (CFA) Program for BYU students, including information sessions, scholarships, and coordination with the CFA Institute.
Maintain strong relationships with faculty, alumni, corporate partners, and campus stakeholders to support program initiatives and events.
Support program operations and financial stewardship, including budgeting, expense tracking, and coordination with departmental accounting staff.
What qualifies you for this role:
Required

Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
Preferred
Experience managing or supervising a small team
Event planning experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Typical Starting Pay:
$22.50 to $29.25/hourly
