  • Develop and manage volunteer-led video storytelling projects that highlight athletes, events, sponsors, sports rules and community impact;
  • Engage volunteers before, during, and after events to ensure successful content capture and delivery;
  • Provide guidance, training, and basic creative direction to volunteers on brand standards, storytelling approach, and production expectations;
  • Coordinate storytelling coverage for competitions, fundraisers, and community activities across Texas;
  • Collaborate with regional staff to identify compelling athlete and community stories;
  • Live streaming coordination with volunteers during larger and or key events;
  • Review, organize, and manage submitted volunteer footage for marketing and communications use in an evolving large library for staff use and beyond;
  • Work closely with the Marketing and Communications team to align volunteer storytelling efforts with campaign priorities;
  • Support Breakfast with Champions presentations and other Special Olympics Texas events as assigned (A/V assistance at events as needed);

  • Follow brand guidelines to ensure SOTX branding standards are met, with proper logo usage, color palettes, and adherence to preferred language;
