Job Title: Finance Systems Transformation Director (ERP Carve-Out Implementation):

The Finance Systems Transformation Director will lead the strategic design and implementation of a standalone financial ERP platform, ensuring full separation of financial systems and data following a business carve-out.
The Director will serve as the executive sponsor for all finance systems transformation initiatives, managing internal teams and external partners to deliver a modern, cloud-based financial environment that enables agility, transparency, and performance oversight.
Key Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership & Governance:- Define and drive the overall ERP transformation vision, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and post-carve-out objectives.
- Establish governance, steering, and reporting mechanisms across Finance, IT, and executive stakeholders.
- Lead decision-making on system selection, architecture, and key implementation trade-offs.
- Ensure the new ERP solution supports management, statutory, and investor-reporting needs.
Program Oversight & Delivery:- Direct and oversee the full ERP program lifecycle — design, migration, integration, testing, and deployment.
- Approve system blueprints, data models, and process flows ensuring compliance and control integrity.
- Manage external implementation partners, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and quality parameters.
- Ensure seamless integration across billing, HR/payroll, procurement, and banking platforms.
Financial Data Segregation & Control:- Lead the transition from legacy financial systems to a fully segregated, fit-for-purpose ERP environment.
- Oversee data-migration strategy, reconciliation, and audit assurance during system transition.
- Implement robust financial-control frameworks, including chart of accounts, approval workflows, and segregation of duties.
Reporting, Analytics & Performance Management:- Design and embed a management-reporting architecture delivering accurate, timely monthly accounts.
- Introduce automated dashboards covering P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, variance analysis, and KPI tracking.
- Ensure compatibility with investor and board reporting templates.
- Establish a disciplined monthly close and reporting cadence across all business units.
Change Management & Post-Go-Live Stabilization:- Lead organizational change, communication, and training to ensure system adoption and process alignment.
- Monitor post-implementation performance, user engagement, and reporting quality.
- Conduct post-go-live reviews and oversee handover to business-as-usual functions.
- Drive continuous improvement and automation within finance processes.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Information Systems; Master’s or MBA preferred.
15–18 years of progressive experience in finance transformation, ERP implementation, or systems integration.
Proven experience leading end-to-end ERP programs (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, or similar).
Background in carve-outs, M&A integration, or finance system separation projects strongly preferred.
Deep understanding of financial reporting, consolidation, and internal control design.
Strong familiarity with data-migration governance, cloud architecture, and financial analytics.
Prior leadership experience managing cross-functional teams and third-party vendors.
Professional certification (CPA, CMA, ACCA, or PMP) is an advantage.
