Financial Accountant

The ideal candidate is responsible for the coordination and execution of account reconciliations, budget compilation, and back-up to the accounts payable function.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger by processing all organizationinvoices, payments, and purchases.
• Review and verify accuracy of financial and contract paperwork and processes.
• Summarize and prepare financial records and statements for external reporting.
• Prepare trial balance and support preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statment.
• Ensure accuracy, security, and integrity of financial data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting.
• 4+ years' accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of public sector accounting standards (IPSAS or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of general ledger processes, reconciliations, and accounting principles.
• Familiar with IPSAS, IFRS.
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
