Financial Accountant - Remote

Job description:

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Financial Accountant to ensure accuracy between systems, invoices, and usage reports. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and follow-up skills, understand financial data, and be comfortable working with cloud billing and third-party vendors.

Key Responsibilities

• Validate and reconcile amounts between invoices, vendor bills, and usage reports (e.g., AWS or cloud platforms).
• Review and compare usage vs. cost from different sources (AWS console, distributors, internal accounts).
• Track profitability.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in invoices or usage data.
• Prepare simple financial summaries and variance reports.
• Communicate with vendors, partners, or internal teams to follow up on billing or usage issues.

Requirements

• Background in Finance.
• 1-3 years of experience
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Ability to organize, compare, and reconcile data from multiple sources.
• Good communication and follow-up abilities.
• Comfortable using Excel / Google Sheets and basic cloud billing dashboards (AWS).
• Familiarity with technical companies or cloud services is a plus.
