Our Nest Real Estate LLC is a fast-scaling UAE real estate company operating across property sales, leasing, investments, and mortgages. With a growing team, strong GTV performance, and expanding operations across Dubai and Sharjah, the Founder is seeking a trusted financial mind to sit alongside leadership — not within it.
ROLE OVERVIEW
The Financial Advisor to the Founder is a high-trust, strategic engagement. You will analyse Our Nest's current financial position, maintain and oversee the integrity of financial books, build forward-looking models, identify legal and financial risks, and advise the Founder on decisions that impact profitability, compliance, and long-term growth. This is a relationship built on insight, accuracy, and trust.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own the books — ensure all financial records are accurate, up-to-date, and audit-ready at all times
- Maintain a clean general ledger, chart of accounts, and monthly closing process
- Review, verify, and sign off on accounts payable, receivables, and bank reconciliations
- Process and audit agent commissions across variable (50%), marketing (40%/30%), and fixed salary structures
- Track and report GTV milestones, team-wise revenue contribution, and monthly P&L; to the Founder
- Build 12–36 month forward-looking financial models and scenario-based forecasts
- Advise on UAE corporate tax structuring, VAT optimisation, and RERA financial compliance
- Proactively identify financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies
- Guide cash flow planning, profit protection, and cost optimisation across business lines
- Evaluate marketing spend ROI and data acquisition investment decisions
- Support strategic decisions — new market entry, developer partnerships, team restructuring
- Advise on future fundraising, investor readiness, or strategic partnership structuring
- Flag regulatory changes in UAE financial and real estate law that impact the business
- Conduct regular advisory sessions (monthly or bi-monthly) with clear, actionable recommendations
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- 5 to 10 years in finance, accounting, or strategic financial consulting
- Deep hands-on experience maintaining books — not just reviewing them
- Strong knowledge of UAE corporate tax law, VAT regulations, and real estate compliance (RERA)
- Proven track record advising UAE SMEs, founders, or real estate businesses
- Strong financial modelling, forecasting, and bookkeeping capabilities
- Ability to translate complex financial data into clear, founder-friendly decisions
- High integrity, confidentiality, and comfort operating at the leadership level CA / CFA / ACCA / MBA Finance or equivalent qualification preferred
- UAE-based with active network in financial and legal advisory circles
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience in a commission-driven or transaction-based business
- Understanding of off-plan property transactions and developer payment structures
- Prior exposure to mortgage or financial services within UAE real estate
- Familiarity with CRM platforms and digital sales operations
- Existing relationships with UAE legal and tax advisory firms
