PURPOSE:

POSITION OVERVIEW:
This position will assist the fiscal financial planning team with budgets, financial planning, forecasting, and grant reporting for both pre- and post-awards to ensure compliance, financial accuracy, and effective reporting.
KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:- Data Analysis & Reporting: Assist with data Gathering, analysis of financial data to identify trends, variances, and key performance indicators.
- Financial Modeling & Forecasting: Assist with the development and maintenance of financial models, and budgeting models, to forecast future financial performance.
- Budgeting & Planning: Assist in the preparation of budgets and strategic financial plans to help service lines divisions achieve their financial goals.
Assist with Request for Proposal (RFP) for external contracts and/or grants, including budget preparation, financial analysis and review.
- Performance Monitoring: Assist with the financial health of projects, business modeling and providing regular reports and insights to management.
- Grant Monitoring: Assist with Monitoring and approving expenditures, ensuring compliance with grant and contract terms, and automated grants management processes.
- Other tasks as assigned.

EDUCATIONAL/TRAINING REQUIRED:- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a closely related discipline and one year of experience, preferably in a healthcare, behavioral health and/or non-profit environment.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED/LANGUAGE PREFERENCE:- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software with the ability to learn new or updated software. Knowledge of excel required.
- A plus, but not required -experience using New York City – Passport, New York State -Statewide Financial system (SFS)
COMPUTER SKILLS REQUIRED:- Proficiency in using computer hardware (e.g. laptop, printers, scanners).
- Proficiency in using computer software (e.g. Microsoft office software, Sage Intacct, Dayforce CRM).
- Familiarity with digital communication tools, email, video conferencing MST, Zoom, webex and instant messaging platforms.
- A plus, Experience with Microsoft Co-pilot and/or other AI tools for automation a plus and data Visualization platform (i.e Tableau, Microsoft BI)
VISUAL AND MANUAL DEXIERITY:- The candidate should be able to read documents for analytical purposes such as computer information, software, computer graphic design programs, etc.

- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be willing to work a hybrid work schedule.
