Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive financial analysis, developing financial models, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making. This role requires a strong understanding of financial concepts and the ability to leverage various financial software and tools to drive business intelligence.

Duties

  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including cash flow analysis and profit & loss assessments.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting and forecasting efforts.
  • Utilize tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Microsoft Excel for data visualization and reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data for financial reporting and strategic planning.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports that communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.
  • Analyze corporate accounting data and assist in cost accounting initiatives.
  • Support investment banking activities through quantitative research and analysis.
  • Utilize ERP systems and Hyperion for efficient data collection and management.
  • Apply advanced skills in SQL, VBA, and pivot tables to streamline processes and enhance reporting accuracy.
  • Engage in business analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement within the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Financial Analyst or in a similar role within corporate finance or governmental accounting environments.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as pivot tables and macros.
  • Familiarity with financial software tools such as Bloomberg, Hyperion, or other business intelligence platforms.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a solid understanding of financial concepts including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
  • Ability to perform quantitative analysis and strategic planning effectively.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly through financial report writing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $78,696.58 - $94,774.38 per year
