Financial Analyst

Position Summary

A growing healthcare company in Nashville, TN, is looking for a skilled Data Analyst. The ideal candidate has an accounting background with strong capabilities in financial reporting and data-driven decision-making. This role focuses on advanced Excel analysis, financial modeling, and ensuring data accuracy across accounting processes.

Essential Functions

• Analyze financial data to support reporting and business decisions
• Build and maintain advanced Excel models, dashboards, and automated reports
• Perform reconciliations, variance analysis, and trend forecasting
• Support month-end and year-end reporting
• Ensure data accuracy and improve reporting efficiency through automation
• Other duties as assigned by Management

Position Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including:
• PivotTables
• XLOOKUP / INDEX-MATCH
• Complex formulas
• Financial modeling
• Experience working with large datasets
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Competitive Advantages

• Knowledge of Accounting Software (Quickbooks and/or Sage Intacct a plus)
