Financial Analyst

Arkansas Talent Group is exclusively working with one of the largest employers in the state of Arkansas to help them find a Financial Analyst for their organization. This is wonderful company with a rich history that has a historic background in hiring top talent and promoting quickly!

This position is open due to growth in the department and recent acquisitions. The position will report directly to the Director of FP&A and will have a lot of interaction and reporting for C-Suite and the Board of Directors. The Financial Analyst will provide analytical insight and consultative support to senior operations and finance leaders across a complex, multi-entity organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis & Monitoring

  • Perform monthly entity-level financial reviews and prepare concise summary reports for leadership, highlighting key drivers, risks, and recommendations
  • Conduct financial reviews and trend analysis at the department, business unit, and service-line levels to identify issues and performance improvement opportunities
  • Monitor operational volume and other key statistics, flag anomalies for leadership, and provide additional analytical support as needed
  • Review productivity metrics for assigned regions or business areas, surfacing efficiency gaps and improvement opportunities
  • Help identify material items not captured in the annual forecast commitments and communicate those to finance leadership for consideration

Finance Support

  • Support finance leadership in compiling and distributing formal supplemental reporting for quarterly executive or board-level presentations
  • Coordinate with local and corporate leadership to gather inputs needed for Spring and Fall forecast cycles and other planning processes

Operations Support

  • Perform ad hoc analysis and build pro formas to evaluate new initiatives, investments, and operational changes as requested by finance leadership
  • Develop and maintain training materials that help new leaders understand financial management tools, reporting, and key processes
  • Provide basic technical and analytical training to operational leaders to help them better leverage financial tools, dashboards, and reporting

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
  • 2+ years of experience in Corporate Finance, Data Analytics, or Accounting
  • Strong Financial Analysis skills
  • Strong Software skills including Excel
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders and to collaborate effectively with leadership at multiple levels
