Financial Analyst

We are looking for a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team in Seattle, Washington. This is a contract position, offering the opportunity to contribute to key financial processes and support decision-making. The ideal candidate will excel in advanced financial modeling and analysis, ensuring accuracy in reporting and budgeting.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed financial models to support budgeting and forecasting

• Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies

• Perform ad hoc financial analyses to address urgent business needs

• Utilize advanced Excel techniques to manage complex data sets

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and ensure alignment on financial goals

• Provide technical assistance in financial modeling and analysis to enhance decision-making processes

• Assist in preparing presentations and documentation for stakeholders, including executive leadership

• Proficiency in advanced Excel functions, including financial modeling and data analysis techniques

• Demonstrated experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting

• Strong ability to conduct variance analysis

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to support strategic decision-making

• Effective communication skills to present findings clearly to stakeholders

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience
