Financial Analyst

Financial Analyst | Hybrid | $80,000 to $100,000 + Bonus & Benefits

The Financial Analyst, FP&A role supports budgeting, forecasting, long range planning, and strategic analysis across multiple regional business units within a growing organization. This individual will play a key role in supporting financial planning efforts while contributing to broader finance initiatives, including system implementations and enhanced reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Support corporate financial planning activities and maintain financial models in partnership with business unit controllers and senior leadership
• Collaborate with regional finance leaders to develop annual budgets and ongoing forecasts
• Analyze financial performance and identify opportunities for operational and cost improvements
• Prepare monthly reporting packages for leadership, including insights and variance analysis
• Provide detailed analysis of indirect and SG&A spending across business units
• Partner with accounting teams to support planning cycles and monthly financial reviews
• Assist in establishing and improving processes to strengthen internal controls and departmental efficiency
• ontribute to organization wide initiatives such as reporting standardization, system implementations, and acquisition integration efforts
• Handle additional ad hoc projects as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Experience
• At least 2 years of progressive experience in financial planning, budgeting, or accounting
• Strong experience working with ERP systems, with a focus on improving processes and reporting capabilities
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to build and maintain complex financial models
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience in a project based environment such as construction, engineering, or similar industries is preferred
• Exposure to planning and reporting tools such as Planful is a plus
• Highly detail oriented with the ability to work independently
• Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
• Effective communicator with the ability to partner across functions and provide meaningful financial insights
• Comfortable operating in a decentralized and evolving environment while driving continuous improvement
