Job Summary
PDS Health is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to support financial planning, reporting, and strategic decision-making across the organization.
$95,000 - $130,000 per annum
This role is responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing insights that improve operational efficiency and business performance. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in data analysis, financial modeling, and communication, with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
+ Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze financial data, trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Develop dashboards and presentations for leadership
- Monitor revenue, expenses, and profitability across business units
+ Budgeting & Forecasting
- Assist in annual budgeting and long-term financial planning
- Build and maintain financial models and forecasts
- Track actual performance against budget and identify variances
- Provide recommendations to improve financial outcomes
+ Strategic Support
- Partner with leadership and department heads to support decision-making
- Conduct cost analysis and identify opportunities for savings
- Support business cases, investment analysis, and growth initiatives
+ Data Management & Compliance
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data
- Maintain financial records and documentation
- Support audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
+ Collaboration
- Work cross-functionally with finance, operations, and leadership teams
- Present financial insights in a clear and actionable way
- Support process improvements and automation initiatives
Required Qualifications
+ Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3–5+ years of experience in financial analysis or similar role
+ Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in:
- Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, financial modeling)
- Experience with financial systems (e.g., ERP tools)
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Ability to interpret complex financial data
+ Knowledge Areas
- Financial modeling and forecasting
- Budgeting and variance analysis
- Financial reporting and KPIs
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare or multi-location organizations
- Knowledge of tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar
- Familiarity with SQL or data analysis tools
- CPA, CFA, or progress toward certification
