Financial Analyst

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Financial Analyst to join a growing medical device manufacturing company in Mercer County, NJ. This role will support revenue analysis, financial modeling, and month end close activities, with a strong focus on ASC 606 revenue recognition and deferred revenue. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail oriented, and advanced in Excel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed ASC 606 revenue recognition analysis, including contract review, performance obligations, and timing of revenue recognition
• Analyze and manage deferred revenue, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
• Support month end and quarter end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Build and maintain complex Excel models for forecasting, budgeting, and revenue analysis
• Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and ad hoc analysis to support management decision making
• Partner with accounting, sales, and operations to ensure accurate financial data and reporting
• Assist with audits and provide supporting documentation as needed
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, controls, and reporting efficiency

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• 2–5+ years of experience in financial analysis or accounting, preferably in manufacturing or medical devices
• Strong working knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition
• Hands on experience with deferred revenue accounting and analysis
• Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and financial modeling
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment and collaborate cross functionally

Compensation:

$80,000-$90,000
