Financial Analyst

Responsibilities

Kforce is partnering with a well-established organization in the Saint Louis area to identify a Financial Analyst for a hybrid opportunity. This role will be responsible for extracting and analyzing data from multiple systems, developing reports to support the month-end close process, evaluating financial results, and helping ensure accurate data flow across platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and the ability to work effectively across systems in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities:

  • Extract and analyze financial data from multiple systems to support reporting, month-end close, and ad hoc analysis
  • Develop and maintain reports that provide insight into business performance and financial results
  • Investigate data discrepancies across systems and identify root causes related to integrations or source data
  • Validate and reconcile financial information using SQL or similar data query tools
  • Serve as a key user for financial systems, including access management and system support
  • Assist with financial close activities, audit requests, and compliance reporting
  • Support system implementations, process improvements, and integration of acquired entities
  • Partner with teams across the organization to explain reporting logic and ensure data accuracy
  • Complete special projects and additional analysis as requested by leadership

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, or related field required
  • 3+ years of experience in finance, accounting, auditing, or systems support required
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work at both detailed and summary levels
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex data
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with financial reporting systems and business intelligence tools preferred
  • Exposure to data warehouses, automated data feeds, or modern reporting environments is a plus
  • Self-starter with strong accuracy and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
