Financial Analyst

Job Summary

The Financial Analyst II serves as a key business partner to Sales and Commercial leadership, providing financial insights, reporting, and analytical support to drive revenue growth, margin expansion, and operational efficiencies. This role is responsible for analyzing sales performance, revenue forecasting, supporting pricing strategies, and identifying opportunities to improve profitability and execution across the sales organization. The role oversees the reporting of backlog, product mix, and customer trends. Serving as a key partner to the business leadership team, this role will provide the commercial team with strategic insights and report on order performance against growth and operational plans.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Analyze orders, revenue, volume, pricing, and mix trends to provide actionable insights into order performance vs. operating plan and forecast.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts, including pipeline analysis, order trends, and variance explanations.
  • Partner with Sales team to evaluate pricing strategies, discounting, and expected margin performance.
  • Develop and maintain sales reporting tools (Salesforce) to provide visibilities into key KPI’s like bookings, backlog, and customer trends.
  • Collaborate with Sales leadership to support decision-making, including territory performance, customer profitability, and market strategy.
  • Conduct deep-dive analysis on sales initiatives, customer segments, and market opportunities.

Education and Experience Requirements

Detail-oriented, self-starter with strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills. The successful candidate will have a proven ability to multi-task and work collaboratively as well as independently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Accounting, Finance, Economics, or other Bachelor’s degree in combination with MBA and/or CPA relevant experience).
  • 3-5+ years of relevant experience in financial analysis, supporting sales or a global manufacturing operation.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
  • Prior experience working with and presenting to management
  • Large ERP experience preferred (Salesforce)
