Position Location:
This position is located onsite at the Wolf Creek Test facility in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
Job Overview:
The Financial and Performance Analyst will support the Financial and Performance Specialist in a wide range of activities including gathering data, organizing information, analyzing historical results, creating forecasts and projections, making recommendations, and generating Excel models, presentations, and reports. The analyst is also responsible for supporting the department with procurements associated with projects managed within the department utilizing a company credit card and corporate business systems.
Responsibilities:
Essential Job Duties:

The position duties are facilities procurement and financial analysis including:
-
Primary point of contact for all craft material/service procurements utilizing a corporate credit card which includes procurement placement and tracking of supplies and materials needed for projects within the facilities department.

Works with purchasing team to establish procurement requirements for each level of procurement.

Collaborates with the team to provide upon request, weekly and monthly reports on financials and procurement statuses.

Generates reports as needed and requested by management team to include analytical details.

Works with the customer, NASA facilities personnel as well as other WSTF departments (environmental, safety and mission assurance, propulsion etc.) and follow established written procedures a must.

Adheres to the WSTF safety and personnel policies and standard operating procedures.

May be required to work non-standard duty hours and weekends.

Performs other duties as assigned in support of the Facilities department.

Strong verbal and written communication and teaming skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks are needed.

Timely, accurate and efficient performance of job duties.
- Providing timely, concise informational updates to project leads and management team.

Experienced in the use of financial tracking tools with a strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Professional verbal and written communications skills.

Knowledge of maintenance and construction trade means, methods, equipment, and tools.

Harmoniously working with WSTF employees and customers.
Job Requirements:
Mandatory:
-
Position requires a minimum of two (2) years college or vocational training in area of specialty plus two (2) years relevant experience, or any equivalent combination of education/experience for a total of four (4) years.
- Ability to pass pre-hire background and drug screen.

U.S. Citizenship

Valid state driver’s license.
Preferred:
-
Knowledge of all Microsoft products including Microsoft Project.

College coursework or college degree, preferably in related field.

Previous construction and/or maintenance environment experience.
