We're seeking a detail-oriented
Remediation Financial Analyst
to support a large-scale financial services program. This role combines financial operations, data analysis, and process management to ensure accurate project billing, forecasting, and reporting across a complex portfolio of client engagements.
The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in finance or accounting, advanced Excel skills, and enjoys partnering with cross-functional teams to improve processes and drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Operations

Process and manage customer invoices accurately and on schedule.

Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.

Collaborate with Finance and Operations teams to improve billing accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

Identify and address unbilled items and revenue optimization opportunities.
Forecasting & Financial Analysis

Develop, maintain, and update project financial forecasts.

Analyze project costs, trends, and operational drivers to improve forecasting accuracy.

Perform variance analysis and cost impact assessments.

Partner with project teams to evaluate financial implications of project changes.
Data Management & Reporting

Extract and analyze data from multiple business systems.

Create and maintain financial and operational reports using advanced Excel.

Support enhancements to reporting processes and internal databases.

Maintain system data integrity and assist with financial system administration.
Process Improvement

Document and maintain standard operating procedures.

Partner with stakeholders to streamline financial and operational workflows.

Recommend process improvements that increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
Required Qualifications

Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience.

2+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial operations.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas and reporting.

Experience with financial analysis, invoicing, forecasting, and data management.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across multiple business functions.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience with financial modeling and forecasting.

Working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP/accounting systems.

Experience with A/P, A/R, and G/L accounting processes.

Background supporting project-based financial operations or professional services environments.
