Position Description:

We are looking for a forward‑thinking Process Improvement Specialist with a strong automation mindset to help modernize and streamline our Accounting & Finance operations. In this role, you will analyze existing workflows, identify inefficiencies, and design automated solutions that reduce manual effort, increase accuracy, and enhance scalability across the organization.

You will partner closely with Accounting, FP&A, and IT to build processes that are not only efficient today but resilient for the future. This will have a hybrid schedule with at least three days per week in office(Subject to change). This posting will close on March 23rd.

What You Will Do

Performs intermediate level of activities related to compiling, analyzing and preparing complex financial planning models and information.
Analyze and/or prepare various treasury and financing functions such as journal entries, account reconciliations, analysis, forecasts/budgets and compliance.
Perform intermediate level of compilation and preparation of plan, forecast, and model information for various company departments, business segments and entities.
Compile and/or verify financial information including but not limited to (as specified by position):
Actual to forecast and historical period variance analysis
Financial reports
Reconciliation reports
Board of Directors presentations
Investor presentations
Rating agency presentations
Project forecasts
Financial ratios and metrics
Depreciation (book/tax)
Share based calculations
Financing such as Interest, coverage, and lease calculations
Cash flows
Rate/tariff schedules
Dividends
Prepare and/or analyze financial models that simulate activities for the purpose of forecastingas specified by position.
Provide information and assistance to employees from auditing firms, management, and others concerning planning, accounting processes, various financial reports and forecasts.
Make recommendations to improve departmental job, processes and procedures.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.
Employee may be required to perform additional duties as assigned.

What You Will Need

Minimum Bachelor's Degree finance, accounting or other related field
Working knowledge and understanding of areas related to finance and treasury. Experience interpreting and applying generally accepted accounting methods and procedures.
Experience developing and maintaining data related to financial forecasts, models, and statistics.
Experience with application of math algebra, and statistical methods.
Experience in use and function of office equipment including computers and applicable software.
Working knowledge and/or training related to:
Spreadsheet and word processing software applications
Energy industry economics
Financial risk management
Commodity marketing
Treasury management
Communication/interpersonal skills
Economic forecasting/modeling and planning and forecasting functions (specified by position)
Experience researching, compiling, and preparing reports, studies, forecasts, financial models, and correspondence applicable to position.
Experience reading and analyzing financial data, accounting and tax-related publications, company and investor correspondence.
Experience interacting, advising, and communicating effectively with internal and external customers.
Experience developing and presenting information to individuals and groups.
Demonstrated ability to read and write fluently in English.
Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply financial planning and analysis methods and procedures.
No required certifications.
Mobility to travel in and around office facilities system wide.
Communicate and/or exchange information or verbal instructions and conduct oral presentations.
Visual abilities sufficient to perform job duties.
