POSITION DESCRIPTION

Caribou Systems is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our pharmacy audit practice as a Pharmacy Financial Auditor. This individual must possess the following qualities:

  • Must have outstanding time management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong analytical background with demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving experience
  • Ability to assimilate and maintain extensive detailed information required to support audit conclusions
  • Self-confident individual with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive or confidential information is critical
  • Self-motivated, with ability to work with minimum management oversight on multiple projects with competing priorities
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to accommodate project deadlines
  • Ability to work efficiently in a remote team environment, with other auditors and programmers
  • Articulate with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Entry level candidates will be considered


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze and interpret financial contract terms
  • Analyze and audit pharmacy claims for adherence to financial pricing terms
  • Communicate effectively with vendors, clients and consultants to resolve issues
  • Document and prepare audit results for PBM/consultants review


QUALIFICATIONS

  • College graduate with a degree requiring analytical skills OR
  • A Minimum of 2 years of professional experience working in Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM), pharmacy claims auditing, or a related field (e.g., Pharmacy Technician). This experience should demonstrate the ability to analyze complex data and contract terms.


OTHER SKILLS

  • Highly proficient in Excel
  • Ability to use and create SQL queries is a plus
