Financial Auditor

ECCO Gulf Majorel Qatar is seeking an experienced Financial Auditor to join our team in Qatar. This role demands a detail-oriented and analytical professional who will ensure the accuracy and compliance of financial statements and procedures according to industry standards. As a Financial Auditor, you will perform rigorous evaluations and audits, contributing to the company's financial integrity.

• Prepare the annual audit plan based on risk for management, submit it to the Director for approval, and prepare audit result reports.
• Monitor compliance with the implementation of laws, regulations, and decisions governing the work.
• Review financial instructions, propose necessary amendments, and monitor their implementation.
• Monitor financial and accounting activities, disbursement documents, and recording procedures in accounting records, ensuring compliance with approved rules.
• Assess risks related to financial and administrative auditing and propose mitigation measures.
• Follow up on required corrective actions from concerned administrative units based on audit results, and prepare periodic reports.
• Ensure accuracy of record-keeping and the integrity of applied procedures.
• Follow up on the results of internal and external audit reports and provide appropriate recommendations.

We are looking for a candidate with a solid background in finance and auditing, complemented by acute analytical skills and attention to detail. The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Financial Accounting or Business Administration.
• Certification as a CPA or CIA is an Advantage.
• Proven experience as a Financial Auditor with a minimum of 10 years in a similar role.
• Preference for candidates with good experience in financial and accounting work related to Government.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Native Arabic (spoken & written).
• Good command of English (spoken & written).
