Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Financial Controller, based in El Sheikh Zaid. The Financial Controller will manage the preparation and analysis of financial statements, oversee accounting operations, and ensure adherence to financial reporting standards. Responsibilities include analyzing financial data, preparing detailed reports, and assisting in strategic decision-making to drive the company’s financial health.

A key part of the role is strengthening internal controls , ensuring data accuracy across systems , and maintaining a robust month-end close process with proper reconciliations and audit trails. The Financial Controller will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Operations, Sales, Warehousing, and E-commerce) to maintain fiscal accuracy, compliance, and reliable management reporting.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Financial Statements , Financial Reporting , and general Finance management
• Proficiency in Accounting principles and practices
• Exceptional Analytical Skills for reviewing data and offering financial insights
• Strong experience implementing and maintaining internal controls , including:
• Balance sheet reconciliations and control accounts (clearing/suspense)
• Process controls, approvals, segregation of duties, and exception handling
• Ensuring data integrity between operational systems (e.g., ERP/e-commerce/payment gateways) and accounting outputs
• Ability to ensure high data accuracy through structured month-end close checklists, tie-outs, variance analysis, and documentation
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field ( CPA or relevant certification is a plus )
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
• Prior experience in the retail or consumer goods industry is advantageous
