Financial Controller

Job Title: Controller

Job Status: Full Time

Pay Range: $100,000-150,000 annually commensurate with experience

Reports To: President

We are seeking a client-facing Controller who will serve as the fractional financial leader for multiple WTS clients while also overseeing internal accounting operations. This role requires strong technical accounting skills, outstanding communication abilities, and the ability to support several organizations simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Oversight:

  • Manage accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and the general ledger.
  • Prepare, analyze, and present financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Supervise and manage accounting staff.

2. Budgeting and Planning:

  • Lead the development of the annual budget and financial strategies in collaboration with leadership and department heads.
  • Monitor financial performance against goals, identifying areas for improvement and cost savings.

3. Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations, including healthcare-specific financial requirements.
  • Oversee financial audits and implement recommendations to address any findings.

4. Operational Support:

  • Collaborate with client healthcare providers to align financial processes and reporting.
  • Support revenue cycle management and other operational initiatives to improve efficiency and client satisfaction.

5. Leadership and Team Development:

  • Supervise, mentor, and develop the accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a financial resource for leadership, providing data-driven recommendations for strategic decision-making.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Healthcare related experience is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, healthcare reimbursement systems, and financial compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or ERP systems).
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
