<Responsibilities>

  • Oversee the entire accounting cycle, including general ledger accounting, account reconciliation, and balance sheet reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely processing and compliance with company policies.
  • Prepare, review, and present comprehensive financial reports,
  • Implement and maintain internal controls in accordance with requirements to safeguard assets and ensure compliance.
  • Conduct cash management activities, including forecasting cash flows, monitoring liquidity, and optimizing working capital.
  • Utilize advanced accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar platforms to streamline financial operations.
  • Perform technical accounting tasks involving complex transactions, payroll processing, and financial analysis for strategic decision-making.
  • Coordinate budgeting processes and support forecasting activities to align financial goals with organizational objectives.
  • Ensure accurate regulatory reporting and compliance with all relevant financial regulations governing non-profit or governmental entities.

<Requirements>

  • Proven experience in corporate accounting with a strong background in government or non-profit sectors preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial report writing, account analysis, and balance sheet reconciliation.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or equivalent tools is essential.
  • Strong understanding of technical accounting concepts, including double-entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, and account reconciliation procedures.
  • Excellent financial acumen combined with analytical skills to interpret complex data sets effectively.
  • Experience managing accounts payable/receivable processes along with payroll administration.
  • Ability to perform detailed financial analysis and develop accurate forecasts within a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently. Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
