Job Summary:

The Finance Manager will oversee the financial health of the company’s restaurant and hotel operations, ensuring accurate accounting, cost control, and compliance. In addition to core finance management tasks, the role will also include selected financial controller duties such as internal control, audit coordination, and financial compliance monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:A. Core Finance Management (Major Role):

  • Prepare and manage annual budgets and financial forecasts for all outlets and hotel operations.
  • Oversee daily accounting operations including payables, receivables, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
  • Monitor financial performance and provide regular reports and insights to management.
  • Support business decision-making through financial analysis and cost-benefit studies.
  • Supervise and guide the finance team to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and vendor payments efficiently.
  • Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and banks when required.

B. Financial Control Responsibilities (Minor Role):

  • Implement and monitor internal control systems to safeguard company assets.
  • Review key transactions, approvals, and financial documentation to ensure compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to financial policies, local regulations, and audit standards.
  • Support management in financial audits and internal reviews.
  • Identify process gaps or risks and recommend corrective actions.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA) is an advantage.
  • 5–8 years of experience in finance, with at least 3 years in hospitality or restaurant operations.
  • Strong understanding of cost control, budgeting, and hospitality accounting systems (POS, inventory, ERP).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities.
