Business/ Finance

§ Responsible for designing packages at cost effective manner to retain patients.

§ Follow up with potential patient and ensure conversion of the same.

People

§ To verify and update the records related to insurance and stay abreast with the information on the current insurance benefits.

§ To train the department on tariffs, discounts and packages.

Customer

§ To coordinate with crowd funding platforms to raise funds for patients who cannot afford for treatments.

§ Coordinating with TPA’s to obtain knowledge on different benefits provided as per the schemes.

§ Addressing patients billing queries if any.

Operations

§ Co-ordinate with Consultants about the billing provisional estimates and billing

§ Responsible to explain the estimate for a particular surgery or hospitalization

§ Mediator/ coordinator between Patients and Consultants in hospital

§ To communicate in a clear and concise manner to the hospital administration staff regarding the financial status of the patient by analyzing and reviewing the patients' accounts receivables and trying to resolve any issues related to it.

§ To explain different packages and promote high standard facilities provided by Rainbow.

§ To update the surgical tariffs on HIS.

§ Responsible for filling up of IP sheets, surgery sheets, In time-Out time sheets on regular basis.

§ Negotiating with the patients on packages along with HOD.

§ Special counsel to VIP’s explaining on different suite rooms and packages.

§ Re-counsel the patients on additional procedures if done.

§ Maintaining the records on patient attendees who have come for financial counsel.

§ Maintaining track of doctor wise admission details.

§ Responsible for coordinating with crowd funding platforms for money raised and ensure paper work is performed as per the process.

§ Ensure proper documentation of no of patients attended financial counsel, follow up details.

§ Handles all patient/family contact in a courteous, professional manner

§ Any other portfolio that may be entrusted by the management from time to time.

Educational Qualifications:

MHM(Master of Hospital Industry)

Work Experience

§ Having 2 years of experience as a financial counselor in hospital industry.

§ Strong communication and interpersonal skills

§ Knowledge of Department procedures and surgery.

§ Able to understand medical terminology

§ Familiar with package billing and insurance benefits.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.16 - ₹35,000.00 per month
