Financial Data Analyst – 10b5-1 Plan Validation & Delivery

About the Role
We are seeking detail-oriented and highly analytical Financial Data Analysts to join our team. The primary responsibility will be to review, validate, and curate 10b5-1 plan data from SEC filings. Analysts will ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery of curated datasets to our clients.
Key Responsibilities

• Review 10b5-1 plan data extracted for accuracy and completeness.
• Cross-verify extracted details against original filings and relevant sections in the documents.
• Identify and correct inconsistencies, missing fields, or misinterpretations.
• Apply established curation guidelines and maintain uniform data formatting.
• Flag ambiguous or complex cases for senior review.
• Document quality checks, changes made, and edge cases encountered.
• Ensure timely delivery of validated datasets to internal teams and/or clients.
• Collaborate with technical and product teams to improve extraction prompts and workflow efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field.
• Strong understanding of SEC filings and corporate disclosure formats.
• Prior experience in financial data analysis, compliance, or market research is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify subtle inconsistencies in large datasets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting financial and legal documents.
• Comfortable working with data in spreadsheets, databases, or internal data curation tools.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining high accuracy.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with 10b5-1 trading plans or insider trading data.
• Familiarity with SEC EDGAR database and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Exposure to AI/LLM would help
• Understanding of corporate governance and securities law terminology.
