Job Description

Design and maintain an integrated financial data infrastructure that supports reliable, near real-time data flow between SAP and external e-commerce platforms through the use database systems (60%):

Streamline data extraction workflows from SAP into relational database tables to reduce reliance on manual CSV/Excel handling and improve real-time financial data accessibility for the Finance Team.
Analyze an end-to-end proprietary financial data pipeline using Python to automate the extraction and structuring of high-volume sales data, ensuring the integrity of the source-to-report process.
Process and organize raw "Order-level" JSON and API data into standardized "SKU-level" summaries aligned with SAP financial records, including quantity, pricing, and tax treatment.
Implement automated validation scripts that perform reconciliation checks between extracted platform datasets and high-level financial totals to ensure data integrity before any information is finalized for SAP entry.
Reconcile and integrate automated data merging logic that joins order data with shipping data using "Order Number" as the unique identifier to calculate precise SAP input dates based on actual or expected delivery.
Coordinate and manage custom API integration protocols for the Shopify and ShipStation platforms to programmatically retrieve daily transactional updates and granular shipping records, eliminating the need for manual data collection.
Review and maintain the underlying data processing scripts (stored and maintained on a local workstation) to ensure the system remains resilient against external changes, such as Shopify API version updates, modifications to the SKU catalog, or shifts in internal data formatting.
Oversee the automated task execution via Windows Task Scheduler to facilitate daily synchronization of financial data, successfully reducing the reporting lag from weeks or half-months to a 24-hour cycle.
Lead the SAP data structuring initiative by designing relational schemas that map SAP document relationships, including billing documents, accounting documents, and specific line items, into a centralized PostgreSQL database environment.

Execute data analysis, forecasting, and compliance-based reporting to ensure accurate revenue recognition and liability calculations, while supporting timely and reliable financial reporting to headquarters (40%):

Execute financial modeling for the Costco Temporary Price Discount (TPD) program by analyzing projected sales volumes and regional inventory flows to estimate the net impact on revenue.
Perform systematic analytical reviews of more than 50 customer accounts to identify recurring deduction patterns, advertising offsets, and chargebacks using structured transactional datasets.
Develop and refine computer-based estimation models for the Reward Points program by analyzing historical customer usage and expiration patterns to calculate monthly liability accruals accurately.
Conduct variance analysis for monthly Business Intelligence (BI) and P&L reports submitted to the Korean headquarters, utilizing rolling averages and seasonality reviews to explain financial fluctuations.
Monitor and validate revenue recognition timing across diverse sales channels—including B2B wholesalers, distributors, and B2C retail—to ensure compliance with IFRS 15 principles.
