Financial Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Planning and Analysis:
• Develop and manage annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Prepare financial reports and presentations for executive management.
• Provide financial advice and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
• Financial Reporting:
• Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance against key metrics.
• Risk Management:
• Identify and assess financial risks.
• Implement strategies to mitigate risks and protect the organization's financial position.
• Cash Flow Management:
• Optimize cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity.
• Manage accounts receivable and payable.
• Tax Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with local, national, and international tax laws and regulations.
• Prepare and file tax returns.
• Advise on tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
• Team Leadership:
• Lead and manage a team of finance professionals.
• Provide guidance, training, and development opportunities.
• Financial Systems:
• Implement and maintain financial systems and processes.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial management, including tax compliance experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools.
• A proven track record of success in a similar role.

Desired Skills:

• MBA or CPA certification.
• Experience in food and beverage industry
• Knowledge of financial modelling and forecasting techniques.
• Experience with tax software and systems.
• Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations.
