The Financial Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial health and performance of the organization, ensuring accurate financial reporting, robust internal controls, and effective cost management. This role will focus on managing the financial operations of coffee shops and F&B outlets while driving strategic growth and profitability. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on F&B finance experience, a strong understanding of UAE regulations, and the ability to lead and mentor a finance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily finance operations including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and cash flow management.
- Prepare, review, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to management.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes across multiple outlets.
- Implement and monitor cost control measures to optimize profitability and minimize operational wastage.
- Conduct detailed variance analysis and deliver actionable financial insights.
- Ensure compliance with UAE tax laws (VAT), IFRS standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor inventory control, procurement costing, and supply chain finance.
- Manage annual audits and act as the primary liaison with external auditors.
- Oversee ERP and POS financial integrations to ensure accurate outlet-level reporting.
- Conduct feasibility studies and financial modeling for new outlets, expansions, and franchise opportunities.
- Mentor, train, and manage the finance team to ensure timely and accurate financial operations.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline (Master’s / CPA / ACCA preferred).
- 7–10 years of finance experience, with at least 4 years in the Hospitality, F&B, QSR, or Coffee Shop sector within the UAE.
- Proven expertise in multi-outlet financial management.
- Strong knowledge of P&L management, financial modeling, and cost optimization.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems, POS systems, and Microsoft Excel.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and partner with operations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
