Financial & Operations Analyst

ShawnTech is an independently owned minority business that has provided installation and support services in the corrections market for over 30 years. ShawnTech specializes in the installation and service of a variety of inmate technologies such as video visitation units, wireless networks, kiosks, inmate telephones, tablets, access controls and cameras.

The Financial & Operations Analyst will be responsible for a diverse range of financial and operational tasks, ensuring the organization’s assets, compliance requirements, and operational processes are managed efficiently. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fixed Asset Management – Maintain accurate records of all company assets, oversee asset additions, disposals, and depreciation schedules.
  • Bank Covenant Calculation – Prepare and maintain financial covenant calculations to ensure compliance with lender requirements.
  • Fleet Management – Coordinate vehicle purchases/leases, repairs, and maintenance schedules; maintain fleet records.
  • Business Registration & Licensing – Work with the company’s registered agent to ensure all business registrations and licenses remain current.
  • Install Quote Approval – Review and approve installation quotes in accordance with company policies and budget guidelines.
  • Cash Flow Forecasting – Prepare and maintain a rolling 13-week cash flow forecast, identifying trends and cash requirements.
  • Bank Reconciliations – Perform reconciliations for five bank accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies.
  • Budget Support – Assist in the preparation, monitoring, and analysis of annual budgets.
  • Audit Support – Provide required documentation and assistance during financial audits.

Skills & Requirements

  • Experience in fleet management and asset tracking systems.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements for business registrations and licensing.
  • Familiarity with audit processes and banking compliance requirements.
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or operations.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Thinking, acting, and reacting strategically, managing multi-task assignments, and working independently.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Working Conditions

This is a onsite position based at the corporate office.
