We are looking for an FP&A Specialist for our global German business partner.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree with major in Business Administration, Economics or Finance
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
  • At least 4 years of experience in a similar role within a multinational company
  • Experienced in Financial & Business Controlling
  • A firm understanding of financial statements /or commercial systems, including P&L,
  • Cash Flow, and Balance Sheet,
  • Knowledge of statutory & international accounting & reporting standards
  • Excel modeling familiarity with complex financial models such as cost models, P&L modeling or scenario analysis
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills (manage spreadsheets and design data models.)
  • ERP (SAP) experience & knowledge is a must.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and multicultural environment

Responsibilities


Cost Analysis, Reporting & Budget Planning

  • Support financials in month/year-end closing & reporting activities
  • Forecasting, business planning, budgeting & strategic planning including periodical revisions. Design/revise the model based on business operations, review and validate operational plans of departments and generate the financial budget
  • Prepare business performance (Budget/Forecast/Actual/Prior Year comparison) reviews including financial statements as well as KPI’s, operational metrics and prepare commentary
  • Provide management with accurate, relevant business analysis to support monthly operational reviews and ad-hoc requests, and ensures timely and accurate information
  • Generate management reports to provide clear and precise information for decision making, review business performance on a monthly basis and provide recommendations to the leadership team
  • Provide analytical and financial modelling support for critical business decisions, working closely with sales,marketing and supply chain teams
  • Taking an active role on cost saving projects.

Revenue Management

  • Allocation and distribution of promotion / product campaign invoices by customer and product in SAP.
  • Analyze historical data and market trends to predict future revenue.
  • Collaborate with pricing team to set optimal prices based on demand elasticity, competition, and cost structures. (Support Pricing Strategy Development)
  • Product Performance Monitoring; Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Revenue per product, Profitability per product.
  • Identify revenue leakage and recommend corrective actions.
  • Provide insights to support strategic decisions like promotions, discounts, or product
  • launches.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes with revenue insights.
  • Analyze customer data to identify profitable segments.
  • Create /update reports to communicate revenue trends and forecasts to management.
  • Present findings to the management to support strategic planning.

Treasury Management: AP, AR & Bank Operations

  • Schedule and monitor timely vendor payments while managing the AP cycle.
  • Coordinate weekly reimbursement cycles, ensuring timely disbursements.
  • Prepare monthly Cash Flow & Making analysis
  • Develop short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts
  • Generate weekly customer collection reports and provide regular updates to the sales team
  • Monitor daily cash positions and ensure sufficient liquidity for operations.
  • Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions.
  • Partner with Finance and IT systems teams to identify process improvements and implement corrective actions.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks such as currency fluctuations, interest rate changes, and credit exposure.

Digitalization &MS-BI Usage

  • Utilize data visualization tools such as Power BI to develop dynamic reporting dashboards.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives in financial planning and reporting to enhance efficiency.
  • Drive digitization initiatives in the respective area by designing, building, and testing analytical modeling solutions.
