Scope and Purpose

This is a hybrid position between Treasury and Accounting, combining operational responsibilities across both areas, as detailed below. The role offers a cross-functional experience, ideal for individuals looking to develop multidisciplinary skills within the financial environment. Continuous interaction with cross-functional teams, the management of diverse processes, and exposure to treasury and accounting topics allow for a comprehensive understanding of the business. The dynamic nature of the position encourages continuous learning and decision-making autonomy.

For Treasury activities;

Cooperate with the local Head of Treasury for the management of financial risks (FX, Interest Rates, Bonds) with a focus on liquidity management in local currency
Act on money market and bond market, analyzing the market trend and the Central Bank decisions
Work in cooperation with the Head Office Treasury Department
Support the Business coverage team providing internal transfer rates and market view when necessary

For Accounting activities;

Maintain the accounting ledger update, reporting and coordinate with the Accounting Manager exceptions arising from day-to-day operations
Maintain accounting files as well as archiving
Perform daily Nostro Account Reconciliations and follow up with investigations in coordination with Operations Team
Assist the Accounting Team on Regulatory Reporting to BDDK/BRSA
Support regarding full compliance with BRSA rules and regulations and tax requirements
Support and back up other accounting functions, such as accounts payable and regulatory reporting
Assist in the preparation of and take part in resource allocation processes
Assist the Accounting Teams in preparing periodic reports to be submitted to the Head Office
Maintain the reconciliation tools and files up to date and assist the Accounting Team in setting up MIS system
Entering customer information about account opening, updates and closing transactions into the main banking system

Required Experience

1-3 years of experience in treasury or accounting roles.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge

University degree from a related discipline
Good command of English
Good command of MS Office applications
Interest in Financial Markets (FX, Rates, Bonds, Liquidity, Risk Management, Regulations)
Detail oriented, analytical thinking and multi-tasking capability
Good communication skills and team-player
