Financial Reporting Analyst

About the Company:

Our client is a publicly traded real estate investment trust focused on originating, servicing, and investing in loans for multifamily and commercial real estate assets. The firm operates across both agency-backed lending and structured finance and maintains a diversified portfolio.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation of SEC filings and subsidiary financial statements and disclosures
• Prepare and maintain periodic workpapers and analyses for supporting financial statement disclosures
• Prepare and file Form 4s, dividend payments, and maintain accurate internal share count schedules
• Assist with the completion of quarterly disclosure checklists to ensure financial statements and footnotes comply with current GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
• Participate in the preparation of reporting packages
• Maintain compliance of SEC and NYSE rules and regulations
• Coordinate external press releases and support investor relations function

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• 2-4 years of experience within public accounting or at a public company
• Working knowledge of GAAP and internal controls over financial reporting
• Real estate investment experience preferred

Salary Range:

$100,000-$110,000
